Privacy Policy
Restyle is a marketplace operated as a venture of Subamati Venture ("Restyle," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the Restyle mobile app, website, and related services.
Information we collect
Account and profile information
When you create or use an account, we may collect your email address, username, name, profile photo, biography, phone number, city, neighbourhood or tole, authentication identifiers, and account preferences. Passwords are processed by our authentication provider and are not visible to other users.
Listings and marketplace activity
We collect the photos, descriptions, prices, condition, category, size, location, and other details you provide for listings. We also process saved items, follows, offers, orders, purchase or sale history, delivery details, reviews, and interactions with listings.
Messages and support
We process messages exchanged through Restyle, reports, and communications sent to our support address. Messages are visible to their participants and may be reviewed when necessary to investigate abuse, fraud, safety concerns, or support requests.
Location, device, and usage information
If you choose to grant location permission, Restyle may use device location to help select a listing location. You can instead enter a city and neighbourhood manually. We may also collect device and push-notification identifiers, app version, diagnostic information, and basic interaction or search activity needed to operate and improve the service.
How we use information
- Provide authentication, profiles, listings, discovery, offers, orders, messages, and notifications.
- Show relevant listing and seller information to other users.
- Prevent spam, scams, fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Respond to support requests and enforce our terms and policies.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, measure, and improve Restyle.
- Meet legal, regulatory, tax, and law-enforcement obligations.
How information is disclosed
Profile and listing information you choose to publish is visible to marketplace users. Messages are disclosed to their intended participants. We may disclose information to vendors that process data for us, including cloud hosting, authentication, storage, notifications, and app distribution providers; to professional advisers; during a business transaction; or when required to protect users, enforce rights, or comply with law.
Service providers and international processing
Restyle uses service providers such as Supabase for backend infrastructure and authentication, Expo for app services, and Apple or Google for platform distribution and notifications. These providers may process data outside Nepal under their own security and privacy commitments.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide Restyle. When you request account deletion, we begin the deletion process promptly and generally complete deletion of active account data within 30 days. Limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, safety, disputes, accounting, or legal compliance. Encrypted backups and security logs may remain for up to 90 days before routine deletion or isolation.

Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections, access controls, and database authorization policies. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may update profile and listing information in the app, decline optional permissions, disable notifications in device settings, or request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
Restyle is intended for people aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Restyle changes. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
